There are two great panorama stiching programs out in free software land that will take a series of photos you've taken in you digital camera and stich them together to make a seamless panorama. The pictures below were taken from the top of the second highest dune in the park. Beyond the dune field are the Sangre De Christos mountians.
This panorama was done with Hugin (http://hugin.sourceforge.net/)
And this one was done with Microsoft's ICE (http://research.microsoft.com/en-us/downloads/69699e5a-5c91-4b01-898c-ef012cbb07f7/). Needless to say, this one only works on a Microsoft Windows machine.
Here's a panorama of the dunes themselves, taken from the southeastern edge of the park. It was done with Hugin and Gimp.
