Photos from Obsession15 UC.

Clicking on the picture will download the high resolution version. The photos were taken with a Canon EOS 5Ds. At this resolution you can get up close and personal with all of the dust and water spots on the mirror (I only noticed them after I took the photos! These, BTW, are easily cleaned.) and the rest of the fine detail

The telescope without it's shoud and with it's mirror covers installed. Note the turnbuckles on the base which secure the telescope's altitude motion when setting up and transporting it. These are an upgrade from the Obsession supplied rubber fasteners which break after only a little use.
