Explanation of Stars common to Tycho and Gaia.
Table column explanation.
This group of tables lists stars that are common to the
Tycho and Gaia catalogs. It lists the J2000 coordinates of each star, their
visual magnitudes, proper motions and errors in proper motions, and finally
the catalog identifier of the star.
Stars in Cyan
are from the Tycho2 catalog, those in yellow
from Gaia.
- J2000) The J2000 coordinates of the star.
- mv) The visual magnitude of the star.
- PM α) The proper motion in right ascension of the star in mas/yr.
- PM δ) The proper motion in declination of the star in mas/yr.
- PM error) The error in proper motion of the star in mas/yr.
- Cat ID) The catalog identifier of the star.
Note: The list currently shows the first thousand common stars found,
beginning at right ascension 0.
