Comet_LovejoyLittle TychoC-82015/Jan/10 18:40:00A starlike 9.5mv nuclues was surrounded by a gray greenish circular haze about 10'in diameter.
Comet_WirtanenLittle TychoC-82018/Dec/18 22:15:0004:14:00 31:48:00. A dim hazy disk about 10' in diameter, brighter towards its center. Tonight's bright moon did not help its visibility.
Comet_HolmesPC-82007/Oct/31 19:30:00 The entire comet was about 2.5 mv. It was 15 arc minutes in total size. There was a nucleus, coma and tail, all roughly concentric.
JupiterBC-82007/Aug/06 22:00:00 Jupiter, at this low altitude and seen through very hazy skies, exibits a red tinge around its south pole, and a blue tinge around its north pole.
JupiterLittle TychoC-82018/Apr/21 2:04:29 The red spot was plainly visible, and reddish, for the first time in my observing experience. Seeing was about Pickering 7.
Comet_LulinBC-82009/Feb/24 03:30:00A fuzzy patch about 10' in size. No green seen, or a spiky tail. Looked like a bright E2 galaxy with a starlike nucleus. About 6mv. The comet moved about 15' in half an hour.
SaturnPC-82007/Apr/20 10:30:00 Saw the 4 easily visible moons, Dione, Tethys, Rhea, and Titan. Enceladus was glimpsed.
SaturnPC-82008/Apr/29 21:45:00 Enceladus was barely glimpsed, as I knew where it was. Titan and Rhea were easy, and Dione was unusual, as there was a star just above it, the same brightness as Dione, and separated from it by about a Saturn diameter. The star was not found on Wikisky or Kstars.
UranusBC-82006/Dec/23 19:30:00 A pale blue disc. Triton not visible.
UranusBC-82006/Oct/13 23:00:00 A tiny, bright, blue disc.
UranusBC-82007/Sep/16 01:00:00 A bright, pale blue green disc. There were no sign of any moons.
UranusBC-82007/Nov/23 20:45:00 A tiny pale blue featureless disk with the 6mm at 339x. It appeared about 2/3 the size of the full moon. I couldn't make out any of its moons, either.
UranusLittle TychoC-82018/Nov/28 22:24:45A uniform blue disk, dancing in the Pickering 3 seeing was all I could expect.
BolidePinnaclesNaked eye2011/May/29 22:58:45A brighter than full moon bolide. I thought it was an approaching car. About a 5 second flight, I only saw the last second, as it streaked through Cancer and vanished in Leo.
NeptuneBC-82006/Oct/21 20:00:00 A faint, pale blue disk at 500x. It looks star like at 50x.
Asteroid_ToutatisLBRPC-112012/Dec/13 19:25:58A ~10mv stellar dot slowing moving through the field, at approximately 2h 17m +6.00°.
MarsBC-82007/Sep/18 04:00:00 Mars was distinctly gibbous, with very low contrast brown markings on a crisply delimited disc. The north polar cap perhaps glimpsed, if at all. It was tiny. There was a faint (~11th mv) star about 2 Mars diameters to the east of the planet.
MarsBC-82007/Oct/21 03:00:00 The planet looked slightly gibbous, and mostly light orange brown in color. There were some dusky markings of low contrast south of the equator, which extended over 60% of the planet's diameter. The north pole region was a bit brighter that the rest of the planet, but no white areas were seen.
MarsBC-82007/Dec/18 02:30:00 The north polar cap was evident, but the "albedo" features were of very low contrast.
MarsBC-82008/Jan/23 19:15:00 Tonight's steady seeing allowed the best ever view of Mare Acidalium and the polar cap.
